Kurse der Stufe B1 bauen Ihre sprachlichen Fähigkeiten in einem normalen Lerntempo solide und vor allem kommunikativ aus. Sie festigen Grammatikkenntnisse und erweitern Ihren aktiven Wortschatz. Am Ende der Stufe B1 können Sie sich auf einfache und zusammenhängende Weise im Alltag und auf Reisen verständigen sowie Ziele und Ansichten beschreiben und begründen.

Für fortgeschrittene Anfänger: Sie haben bereits gute Grundkenntnisse und möchten diese auf der A2-Stufe zu einem soliden Basiswissen ausbauen. Am Ende der Stufe A2 kann man sich auf einfache Weise in typischen Alltagssituationen verständigen, kurze Gespräche führen und einfache grammatische Strukturen korrekt verwenden.

Dieser Kurs ist darauf ausgerichtet, alle Sprachfertigkeiten zu entwickeln, legt aber ein besonderes Augenmerk auf die Entwicklung Ihrer Kommunikationsfähigkeit. Das Sprechen ist am Anfang eine Herausforderung, aber das aktuelle Audio- und Videomaterial der BBC, das als Grundlage für unsere Konversationsübungen dient, ist eine unterhaltsame Möglichkeit, sich mit einer breiten Palette von Alltagsthemen sprachlich vertraut zu machen.

Für fortgeschrittene Teilnehmende mit guten Grundkenntnissen, die Freude am Anwenden und Ausbauen Ihrer Sprachkenntnisse in einem kommunikativen Unterricht haben. We will focus on those aspects of grammar and vocabulary that are particularly difficult for German-speakers. Mistakes often occur because your native language interferes with your attempts to express yourself in English. For example, you might say "actually" instead of "currently", "I am born in Berlin" instead of "I was born...", etc. The aim of the course is to make such mistakes a thing of the past.

By the end of this course, you will be able to: Use conditional sentences to express hypothetical situations and their possible outcomes. Use modal verbs to express possibility, necessity, permission, and obligation. Use relative clauses to define things and people,and to provide additional information.

Learn how to use the right prepositions in English sentences Do you ever get confused about which preposition to use? Prepositions can be a problem for many learners of a foreign language because they often have different meanings depending on the context in which they are used. In this course, you will be given systematic practice in the correct use of prepositions and prepositional phrases. We will also look at some common preposition errors.

Auf der Stufe B2 können Sie sich schon detailliert ausdrücken und argumentieren. Zu den meisten allgemeinen Themen verfügen Sie über einen ausreichend großen Wortschatz und Sie beherrschen die Grammatik recht gut.

This business English course covers the core areas of business Englisch at B-level with a strong focus on speaking and communicating in real-life business situations: - personal encounters (social situations of business English such as building relationships, dealing with customers, clients and colleagues), - day-to-day business (daily routines such as making appointments, writing agendas and minutes and planing your work, online meetings), - business results (how to make an impact with the results of your work, reporting on progress and achievements, keeping each other informed and dealing with facts and figures).

Do you want to improve your English fluency for work and sound more like a native speaker? One of the best and quickest ways for this is to learn some common  idioms which  are frequently used in the workplace, such as in meetings and emails. In this course, you will learn how to use such  idioms appropriately.

This course offers you an opportunity to talk about a wide range of topics related to business and current affairs.The choice of topic is open to the group. Prior to the lessons, students receive gap-fill  exercises to practise related vocabulary and a road map of questions on the chosen topic.

Für Lernende mit fortgeschrittenen Sprachkenntnissen: Neben aktuellen Texten werden nach Wunsch auch kleinere Lektüren eingeflochten, um das freie Sprechen und den Wortschatz zu üben.

Auf dem Kursniveau A1 lernen Sie, vertraute, alltägliche Ausdrücke und ganz einfache Sätze zu verstehen und zu verwenden, zum Beispiel beim Einkauf oder der Reservierung eines Zimmers. Der Kurs setzt Vorkenntnisse (vier Semester oder vergleichbar) in Hiragana und Katakana (lesen und schreiben) voraus, aber die vorausgegangenen Inhalte werden begleitend wiederholt und in alltagsnahen Sprechsituationen geübt und vertieft.
